About the job
The Swedish Tax Agency is now entering a new phase of building and innovation as we will deliver IT services and IT operations to more government agencies. Therefore, we are scaling up and strengthening our teams with new employees who want to work with the delivery of these services to Sweden's authorities.
The culture at the Swedish Tax Agency is characterized by an agile working method with an open dialogue for change and development. You are part of the unit for the Swedish Tax Agency's Technical Services (STT) with approximately 500 employees. We are responsible for development, maintenance, and operations, delivering services within IT infrastructure and platforms to several authorities. You belong to a team where each member has expertise in VMware.
As a Virtualization Specialist, you are a key player in the IT department of the Swedish Tax Agency. You belong to a section for servers, virtualization, and storage that develops and maintains the Swedish Tax Agency's IaaS platform. We are currently building the next generation of the platform, where we will further increase automation and further develop our private cloud solution to handle more customers. Your tasks include the development and maintenance of the Swedish Tax Agency's VMware infrastructure together with the team, and you will also work with our Aria Operations platform.

You belong to the IT department, and your place of work is either Sundbyberg, Malmö, or Gothenburg.
About you

In this job, you should:

- be able to analyze information flows, see connections, patterns, and make delimitations
- express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
You should also have:
- several years of current and relevant work experience with VMware
- several years of current and relevant work experience with infrastructure operations
- work experience with vSAN.
It is desirable that you have current and relevant experience with NSX. It is also desirable to have current and relevant experience with VCF.
Good to know
The employment is permanent and may start with a probationary period of six months.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
